Help Bushfire Impacted Wildlife by Taking Your Dog for a (Special) Walk

Behaviour and Training

The very lovely people at Bark in the Park are supporting wildlife impacted by the bushfires by doing what they love best: walking. Starting this weekend, they’ll be holding Walk for Wildlife– a social dog walk around Melbourne’s Albert Park Lake every Saturday from 9AM.

They’re donating the $30 participation fee to Wildlife Victoria’s bushfire appeal, who are working hard to rescue and rehabilitate countless animals caught up in this disaster; as well as supporting carers and rescuers.

The walk isn’t just for a good cause though: it’s also a great way to meet new people (and dogs), learn about behaviour and training, and connect with your community during a really stressful and scary time.

If you can’t make it down, you can still donate to Wildlife Victoria, among many other great groups working hard to help impacted animals.

For more info, you can email them at: [email protected]

And don’t forget to follow them @barkinthepark_
