The very lovely people at Bark in the Park are supporting wildlife impacted by the bushfires by doing what they love best: walking. Starting this weekend, they’ll be holding Walk for Wildlife–a social dog walk around Melbourne’s Albert Park Lake every Saturday from 9AM.
They’re donating the $30 participation fee to Wildlife Victoria’s bushfire appeal, who are working hard to rescue and rehabilitate countless animals caught up in this disaster; as well as supporting carers and rescuers.
The walk isn’t just for a good cause though: it’s also a great way to meet new people (and dogs), learn about behaviour and training, and connect with your community during a really stressful and scary time.
