Dog Adoption

Rescue of the Week: Tomkins (VIC)

About Tomkins the Terrier

  • 5.5 years old
  • Male(de-sexed)
  • Terrier Mix (Small)
  • Looking for a foster carer or family to adopt him

Tomkins has had a rough life and understandably has some trust and anxiety issues.

He wants to be an only dog in a home with no kids, cats or other dogs. Tomkins is not a fan of other dogs and walks need to be on the lead only.

He loves to play, cuddle on the couch and chill out in the same room as you. He likes to sleep in his crate and is still mastering toilet training.

You will need to invest time and effort to gain his trust, but once you do he transforms into a loving, loyal guy that wants to please you.

There is a $580 adoption fee and Tomkins is vaccinated, wormed and microchipped. Victorian Dog Rescue also offers training support for six weeks to help them settle into their new home.

He is currently in foster care in Melbourne and waiting for a forever home.
