Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day can be ruff, so this year Scratch have you sorted with an afternoon of Pups & Pints amongst Melbourne’s finest faces, and their humans.

Puppy love is a real thing, with research showing that having a dog in your Bumble profile pic increased matches by 45% for men, and 22% for women (Webbox, 2018).

There’s no better way than to break the ice over a drink and a sniff at Melbourne’s best dog-friendly venue, The Great Northern Hotel.

Scratch co-founder Michael Halligan says that your dogs getting along is a good sign for any potential romance. “No pet parent wants to date someone that doesn’t like dogs. Knowing your dogs get along from the start is always a good sign!”

“We’ve always said that cupid has four paws. As we get older, most of the friends we make are through our dogs! We have a lot of younger customers and thought it would be fun to give everyone an easy, casual way to meet other dog owners.”

The event is free and walk-ins are welcome.

You can also register ahead and enter to win a complimentary pint/glass of red, a free treat for your woofer, and a box of Scratch grain-free dog food via valentines.scratchpetfood.com.au

Don’t miss it; it’s going to be paw-some.
